How do I remove databases from Alchemy Server Control?

You remove databases from Alchemy Server control by removing them from the Alchemy Server service.

CAUTION: Captaris strongly recommends that you disable any database before removing it from the Alchemy Server service.

Note: You cannot remove a database from the Alchemy Server service that is under Library Services control. You must first remove the database from Library Services control before removing the database from the Alchemy Server service. 1. If necessary, remove the database from Library Services control.

Removing a database from sever control

1. In the Alchemy Server console tree, expand Alchemy Server | <the node for your server’s name>.

2. Right-click the Databases node. The databases that the server controls appear in the details pane.

3. In the details pane, right-click the database that you want to remove.

4. Click Remove Database on the shortcut menu.

On the confirmation box, click Yes.
