Setting the Minimum and Maximum XMLConversionLayer Instances

The number of concurrent XMLConversionLayer instances utilized by AlchemyWeb is configurable by the system administrator.

Alchemy Web Engine Configuration

From Alchemy Web Engine MMC Snap-In, Select the Sprains: Computer Node (1) and then Select Properties (2).

Alchemy Web Engine Properties

Pool Manager Max and Min Size can be set. Click OK to save the settings. If you ever see more than the Max setting or fewer than the Min setting, Stop the Alchemy Services. Using Task Manager, End any remaining XMLConversionLayers and then restart the Alchemy Services in the following order:

  1. Alchemy Server
  2. Alchemy LM
  3. Alchemy PM
  4. Alchemy Conversion (If 9.0 or greater)
